I actually went into this movie not knowing anything about it. I can't recall when it was but I saw three guys do that "flip after an explosion", a sequence I saw countless times in the Transformers movies. It looked rather Michael Bay'ish to my eyes. So I pulled out my phone, typed in 6 Underground, and there it was, Michael Bay. I was kinda bummed afterwards because I was enjoying the car chase scene a lot. But yea, Mr. Bay got the keys to the city on this one.

I watched this a few days ago. It's interesting because this and The Irishman are sort of bookend examples of what can happen when you take a director and unfetter them from the restrictions that a regular studio would put on them. It also makes you realize that Transformers was a fettered Michael Bay.

With that said, I was entertained. I knew what I was going in for. There was lots of action, as expected, but it didn't really come together, like, say, Jumanji or one of the better MCU movies. I did pause a couple of times to see how much time was left.
