So I broke down and made the jump from my 7+ to an iPhone 11 Pro Max (Space Grey).

That ultra-wide camera is insane, the screen is pretty amazing, it's 'fast' with everything I ask it to do, the night mode is pretty impressive, loving dark mode.

The removal of the "button" and the swipe up action is a bit odd, but Apple loves their gestures so it's not a surprise, will just take some getting used too. The screenshot reconfigure also takes some getting used too.

Off to San Diego in three days, looking forward to using it on my trip.

Picking up a new phone around the holidays, currently have an S8 which I am happy with, but after the holidays both my son and wife will have iPhone. So I might have to make the switch back to Apple.

It took me a week to adjust to the new gestures but once you do it makes the old way seem difficult

Ok, for those of us slow on the uptake what’d ya buy? And what’s better. Oh by the way your orient watch. .... great watch, had a band failure, And fell to the tile floor and broke the crystal. Damn. It was a very accurate watch above water and below. It did require daily winding. Sorry!

Me too...not having the button drove me bonkers for a few days, I'm 'almost' used to it.

The "ultra-wide" lens on this thing is insane.
