The suicide of recent stars such on Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington --especially Chester-- had a profound effect on me even though I'd experienced suicide up close and personal in the past. I was chatting online during a game of PUBG with some friends; we all were talking about Linkin Park, Chester, and life in general when a friend mentioned that Linkin Park's leader and other vocalist, Mike Shinoda, released a solo album, Post Traumatic. I ordered it on the spot. Without getting too much into it, over 16 tracks Shinoda lays out his grief over Bennington's in a variety of lyrical and instrumental styles. And I mean he really lays it out, all of it. Overall, it's pretty brilliant (if you're into his genre of alternative/rap), and a must buy for LP fans.
