So, the plain black curtains on the back wall weren't doing it for me when just chillin' listening to music, so I found these on clearance at Amazon...

Got an area rug to dampen reflections of light and sound off the floor...

And the new BenQ is so much brighter than the old Mitsubishi was, that I replaced the White canvas screen with a Dove Gray canvas...

Dove gray canvass screen looks good. Is it hinged/ pivoted up on the ceiling. Lowered manually when needed.

Looks great. What size screen are you using?

Screen is 110" diagonal, and I have it hanging from some screw hooks and light weight chain. When not in use I swing it up and it has another screw hook and chain at the bottom to keep it up on the ceiling.

    Thanks Randy.

Got rid of the Clouds & Lightning curtains, the blue just didn't work for me, so I'm looking for something else...

Is the screen DIY? If so it looks great, and the fold-up idea is perfect.

Yes, 100% DIY. I got artist stretcher-bar, then layered canvas over black felt. The felt stops light from going through the screen, from both directions.

Thanks guys! Really cuts down on the side reflections during movies. When not watching movies, they bunch up on the side, just in front of the speakers, getting rid of those early reflection points. Improves what was already great soundstaging. I'm pleased :-)

Cool. Anxious to hear your impressions with the newer surrounds. There are four spheres for sale on audio circle trading post.

Tempting, but I think I'll play with my Optimus Pro-77 and Pro-7 speakers for a bit. I ordered some new caps for them, so I'm hoping that smooths them out a bit. And I LOVE the added surrounds, I feel they made a big difference in the envelopment.

Turntable feeds the Audio Alchemy VITB, which, along with the Sony CDP xa20es, and front out of the Emotiva UMC-200, feed the Audio Alchemy DLC/PS-3. That feeds the Audio Alchemy OM-150/PSU-150 & PSU-150M and Dayton SA1000 sub amp, which feed the Gallo Reference 3.5 front speakers.
The Oppo BDP83, and a Roku Streaming Stick +, feeds th Emotiva UMC-200, which then feeds the other 2 Audio Alchemy OM-150 amplifiers for rear and side surrounds. Currently rear surrounds are my Gallo Strada Signatures, and side surrounds are Optimus Pro-77. I have a set of Pro-7's that I may swap in for the Strada, just to get a more balanced surround match, not sure I'll have the scratch anytime soon for another set of Strada. Was also thinking about maybe getting 4 Optimus Pro LX-5, with the Linaeum tweeters(?)

Nice speakers. I just donated a few to goodwill. I was too lazy to list them during a move.
