New JVC 3D ready 1080P DILA Projectors and a <3k 1080P DILA PJ

    Good stuff. I'd like to see DILA some day. 3D = very cool for projectors. It will give you that full immersion that will mean more on a 100" screen than on a 40". Brightness may be a problem though....

    I was just about to pull the trigger on a JVC. Perhaps I should consider one of these newer models.

    Been wondering when they would come out with some and what the pricing would be. I've been very happy with my DLA-RS1 and plan on upgrading to a JVC 3D projector when the time comes.

    Is the advantage of 3D pjs only for 3D movies?

    From what I've seen at BB on a 58", IMO yes. Even up close I wasn't immersed enough in it.
