Alrighty! Looks like this could be our first thread to get locked!

David, the reason people don't agree with you is because you are always wrong.

ssshhhh j/k just trying to help get it locked.

    Ooohhh...

Do we get to talk politics again?

Just taking a look at the admin list, I think this forum is going to lean a bit towards the right.

I'm going to lock this for a few hours, just so I can be the first to lock a thread on HTLounge! :)

Sorry, no, in fact I'm going to actually be stricter about it. While it seemed like we could always make it a couple pages/days with religion and politics threads before they got derailed and usually locked them before they totally exploded, I was always convinced that letting them go for too long in the name of not being too rigid is how bad blood is built. Yes the thread gets locked and yes the argument is over but someone is already pissed at someone else. This goes for threads in general.

Delete thread, ban user. I agree. Bring the hammer quick and preferably with little explanation. Folks will get the message everytime a thread mysteriously disappears without explanation.

I didn't want to direct that specifically at you and I'll try not to be overbearing with every remark knowing that some are made in jest as well. I'm just asking for everyone to put in a little more effort.
