I notice that the Deja Vu dvd has two versions - the regular movie and a version with "surveillance mode." Can anyone here comment on this second version?

Strange. I have the feeling I've asked this question before. (Sorry for the bad pun.)

Can't comment on the DVDs because I rented it but I thought it was a pretty good film.

The Blu Ray version is spectacular. I can't recommend it enough.

I would think that the "surveillance mode" is their clever way of saying commentary, whether director or whomever it may be. I've been wrong before though. :)

I think if you try to make a use copy of this movie it automatically copies the surveillence mode.... not that I tried to do that or something? ;)

I'm watching it now, it's a commentary with extra footage of how they shot certain scenes.

    Nice movie.
