Most custom installation companies have aimable tweeters in their line. Look at Sonance, Polk, Speakercraft etc,,,

Thanks, Buzz. I've seen the Polks and others with aimable tweeters. Know any with a directional woofer like the PowerPoints?

Look at the AIM series from Speakercraft. Honestly I am not sure how important being able to swivel the woofer is and I have heard some pretty reasonable arguements against it...

Fair enough. Honestly I haven't shopped around that much but an additional item I noted was that for my particular configuration, the tweeters on the Polks don't swivel nearly far enough. So I thought another configuration where they are more direct would work. Heck, I might end up buying just regular speakers and hanging them. I don't know, just evaluating options.

You are a brave man, David. I still own one of Sonance's subs. People always go "who?".

Yep, Sonance is good stuff. I use them for my surrounds (but not the in-ceiling versions.)

Yeah, Sonance were the first company to really push built in speakers effectively.
Some of their new designs are really quite aesthetic as well.

    Dustin,
Polk had a new line of in ceilings that were angled into the ceiling as opposed to the typical flush mount. To say the difference I heard was startling is an understatement.

    Shane,

Do you know the line of Polks? I'm surfing the site but I don't find a product matching the description you've given.
