3 episodes in and it has me completely hooked...wasn’t a big fan of the movie but always loved the comic.

I'm hooked too Dennis. It's a bit obtuse at times however. :smirk:

Perhaps :) but as long as they continue to pull the curtain back a bit more each week, albeit slowly, I'll continue to be all in!

Tim Blake Nelson is a secret weapon. Hangin' in there.

This show is so delightfully bizarre. Come on folks- get to watchin' it! :sunglasses:
And Episode 6 was possibly the best episode of television -full stop- ever!

I wonder if the writers are fans of the Blue Man Group? The blue god walking on the swimming pool was a kick.

The Watchmen (Dr. Manhattan) was originally published during 1986 and 1987. The Blue Man Group began in '87.
I wonder if the originators of TBMG were fans of The Watchmen? ;)

I still recall seeing Blue Man Group on the Tonight Show (Carson).

Not yet but you're making me consider giving it a try. Just started season 4 of The Expanse.

I don't have HBO nor any of its streaming apps, but I'm considering purchasing the entire season from Amazon Prime. I'm hearing many positive things about this series.

I think "Watchmen" may be right in your wheelhouse, Jay.

It pops up on my Prime app, so I think you can purchase it.
I have HBO so I've been streaming it on the HBO Go app.

Yes options are available to purchase an episode or an entire season for 29.99. I was able to purchase the first season "True Detective" a few years ago in this manner.

We started watching Watchmen over the Xmas break. Up to episode 7 now. It is surprisingly good.

I'm hovering around Episode 4 but I've been distracted. Definitely an interesting take and highly entertaining. My knowledge of the story is limited to the Film and a few excerpts of the Graphic Novel. I'm going to try and finish the series this week, then revisit when things at work slow down.
