From Dr. Low Dog (really) comes herbal-infused coffee. I don't think this will save me from coronavirus (neither will that silver crap from Jim Bakker) but it does taste pretty damn good.

Chinese herb coffee eh? My wife was warned by her kidney doctor to avoid Chinese herbs as they can promote stone formation in people prone to kidney stones, so use with caution.

Avoid Chinese herbs. That seems like a broad description. A wide net. But better safe than sorry.

My wife just bought this. Tastes lousy imo, Ugh?! I’ve sorta given up coffee. No big deal one way or another. Occasional tea or coffee to be social. Lately I’ve had some really good Vietnamese coffee. Robusto not arabica. Just an FYI. Some of my Asian friends like to really doctor up their cafe, eggs to condensed milk. And everything in between.

Recently picked up a bag of store brand Colombian Supremo from Giant Foods aka Stop&Shop in New England. Both belong to the Dutch retailer Ahold. Pretty damned good coffee for its price. It only comes as ground

I got an email from Coffee Bean Direct stating that they're closing down for a while. I got my 5 lbs just in time.

I recently signed up for Misto Box. Its not cheap but its been a good experience. Its kind of like Stitch Fix for coffee. You build a taste profile and then you can either specifically select coffees recommended or you can allow your curator to select coffees based on a combination of your preferences and reviews of actual coffees.

Not herbal (and I'm not a coffee fanatic - just use Dunkin K-Cups I get at Sam's Club) but I know a couple of people who rave about this coffee and order all the time - Bisbee Blends

I always thought LavAzza was the Bose of coffee.

I should have posted that with a question mark as it was in fact a question. A quick google indicates I'm sort of right? Because even coffee snobs are not as big of assholes as audiophiles, it appears that the general sentiment is the same but the breadth and depth of hatred it significantly less :)

I'm off to go sip my sustainably sourced, fair trade, Pango Pango Sulawesi while listening to music on my KLIPSCH speakers :P

KLIPSCH? Isn't that the BOSE of speakers? :smilingimp::sunglasses::grinning:

Seriously, my Italian chef friend Sal recommended the Super Crema. He said most of LaVazza is pretty marginal but that he thinks this blend, which is supposed to be for espresso, makes the best drip coffee of any commercial bean. It's what he serves in his restaurant and it's what we've been using in the Krups drip machine for a while now. I think it's really tasty.

The gripe from snobs would simply be that its not remotely fresh. Coffee should be used within 2-5 weeks of roasting. That stuff probably sits in a warehouse for 2 months before it even goes to a retailer. I'm not being critical personally, I'm just expressing the consensus view.
